My lover is mine, and I am his. Song of Solomon 2:16 Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Song of Solomon 8:6 (NIV)

About Us

Our Journey

Justin and I met the summer of 2002 in Ada, OK at a NCA camp.  It was one of the last camps of the summer.  I remember thinking he was funny and cute, but not having any feelings for him in that way.  The camp had been over for weeks when Justin called me one evening.  I knew that I hadn't given him my number and later found out that he had gotten it from David Roberts.  After talking to him for awhile, I couldn't help but like him.

It was three years from the time we met and started dating.  Throughout those three years we would often talk on the phone or bump into each other at random places.  The first time we really hung out was at Mama Smith's house.  Justin cooked for me (I should have known then that I would marry him) and we all hung out by the pool.  After that night we continued to talk.

Our first official date was Jazz in June in  2004.   I was extremely nervous because not only, was it our first date, but I was also going to meet his two sisters.   We had a great picnic in the park while we listened to great music.  Zac also came to join us later in the evening.  At the end of the night we shared our first kiss!  What a night!  First date, met family and first kiss!!!

On August 6, 2004, Justin and I became officially boyfriend and girlfriend.  That night I met him at OJ and Lindsey's wedding.  At the reception, we danced and had a great time with friends.  Later that night before I left to go back home, Justin asked me to be his girlfriend.  The next day Justin and I were walking into Wal-Mart when I received a text message from him that said "Cricket and I are official".  Ends up, he met to send it to Zac!

So now we have been together almost five years!  God still continues to bless us everyday.  In January we bought our first house in Mustang.  Justin is currently living there (turning it into his very own bachelor pad...only a few more months until I change that)!  I am teaching 1st grade in Mustang and loving it!  While Justin recently got a new job with this website company!

Thank you to all of our family and friends who continue to pray for us.  We are who we are today because of you!  We can't wait to share our wedding day with you!  We love you!
